However, within a particular lot of custom ribbons, you may wish to have text and/or colors that vary, perhaps even as other text and colors (e.g., company name) remain consistent within the lot. Text that varies is called "Places" (First Place, Second Place, Honorable Mention, etc.) or "Classes" (Long Jump, Hurdles, etc.). When you vary Places and/or Classes, you may also vary the ribbon color and/or the foil color. ("Foil color" – also called "Imprint Color" – is the color used to print text and/or images onto the ribbon.) If desired, you may vary colors without varying text. In that case, each color variance is considered a Place change. Before checkout, using the "Setup" item, enter the NUMBER of Places and the NUMBER of Classes (two separate drop-down menus). After checkout, enter the TEXT for your Places ("First Place," "Second Place," etc.) and/or the TEXT for your Classes ("Long Jump," etc.), along with your COLOR choices. If you wish to vary MORE than simply text and colors, for example, if you wish to vary image, size of content, size of ribbon, text orientation, ribbon edges, card, tape, or font, then you must configure a SEPARATE LOT (i.e., another pair of item images in your cart: [a] ribbon and [b] setup). Listed below are typical color selections for Places. The list is provided simply to let you know what is common. You may use whichever colors you want. 1st Place - Blue 2nd Place - Red 3rd Place - White 4th Place - Pink 5th Place - Yellow 6th Place - Green 7th Place - Light Green 8th Place - Tan 9th Place - Brown 10th Place - Grey Special Award - Purple Honorable Mention - Green Participant - Green Excellence - Blue Achievement - Teal Here is a list that omits pink.
